Why choose our specialist gym-member insurance?

Aerobics and Fitness classes are not considered the most dangerous activities in the world, but if you injure yourself or another person, then the financial implications could set you back thousands if you don’t have a specialist insurance policy in place. Insure4Sport have created a specialist insurance policy specifically catered to those who take part in aerobic type activities, with the option to build your own policy so you only pay for the cover you need.

Why do gym members need insurance?

Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast who takes aerobics and fitness classes on a regular basis, or you live at an army barracks and need insurance to use the gym facilities, with Insure4Sport you can take out a policy which ensures you’re protected in the event of an accident. We cover your personal liability and you can add personal accident including broken bones, physiotherapy and loss of income to your policy.

Take a look at the following examples of why every gym member should have specialist insurance:
  • You injure yourself during a session or class and require physio treatment.
  • You injure yourself during a session or class which means you can’t work and earn for a period of time.
  • Your sports equipment is damaged, lost or stolen.
  • You accidentally injure another participant during a session or class and they decide to take legal action against you.

What is multi-sports cover?

We insure over 200 sports and activities, ranging from football and martial arts to aerial hoop dancing and zumba, and all of them fall into one of five risk groups. If you play or coach more than one sport or activity, and they fall within the same risk group or a lower risk group, then you’ll be insured to play or coach them on the same policy at no extra cost. Coaches and instructors must have the necessary qualifications recognised by the UK National Sport Governing Body, or otherwise agreed and recorded by us.
