Zumba instructor insurance is not a legal requirement for teaching classes, unless you employ staff where legally you’re required to have Employers’ Liability insurance. Though it’s not a legal requirement, having Zumba instructor insurance can help provide financial protection for potential risks. This could include injuries to people in your classes or damage to your equipment. Depending on where you teach Zumba, some venues, gyms or studios, may require proof of Third-Party insurance to allow you to teach there.
-
Public liability insurance covers claims made by third parties for injuries or property damage. As a Zumba instructor, if you have public liability insurance in place, it can help cover some or all of the costs for claims for personal injury or property damage from participants in your classes.
-
If you can’t teach your classes in person, you’re covered to teach classes of up to 30 people in live or pre-recorded sessions online.
-
