Types of triathlon insurance
If you choose a triathlon insurance policy through Insure4Sport, there are three options to pick from:
Triathlon insurance: Tailored insurance if you’re an individual participating in and training for triathlons, including Personal Accident, Third-Party Liability and equipment cover.
Triathlon coach insurance: This cover option includes everything that’s available through a player and participant triathlon insurance policy, with the addition of Professional Indemnity and Employers’ Liability cover.
Triathlon teams insurance: This cover is available to triathlon groups who are looking to cover a number of people against potential injuries or accidents.
What does triathlon insurance cover?
Triathlon insurance can provide financial protection for athletes, coaches and teams when training or competing in the water, on the bike and on foot.
Triathlon insurance through Insure4Sport can help cover some or all of the costs if:
- you accidentally cause an injury to another person or damage their property during a competition or training session
- your triathlon equipment, is lost, stolen or accidentally damaged
- you suffer a serious injury while training or during a race
