Specialist ski insurance for instructors, individuals and teams
Skiing is a thrilling and exciting sport. And with many ski centres up and down the UK, it’s not something that’s limited to the mountains during ski holidays. Each time you strap on your skis and head down the slopes, there’s the risk of injury to yourself or someone else. If you’re a skiing instructor, there’s also the risk that someone injures themselves during one of your lessons.
If you’re skiing yourself or instructing, skiing insurance through Insure4Sport is designed to help keep you protected on the slopes.

Types of skiing insurance
If you choose to take out a ski insurance policy through Insure4Sport, you have three options to select from:
Skiing insurance: Insurance for skiing helps keep you protected on the mountain or at the ski centre, whether it’s your first time or you’re an experienced skier. It includes Personal Accident, Third-Party Liability and skiing equipment cover.
Skiing team insurance: Specialist cover for ski teams. Each individual on your team has the same level of cover as through a skiing insurance policy.
Skiing instructor insurance: Tailored cover for ski instructors, whether on the mountain or at the ski centre. It includes the same cover options as ski insurance, with the addition of Professional Indemnity and Employers’ Liability cover.
All ski insurance policies through Insure4Sport are suitable for on-piste skiing. This means skiing on marked routes or groomed slopes. This is standard for resort skiing and is usually what most beginners and intermediate skiers ski on.
-
If you choose to take out a skiing insurance policy through Insure4Sport, this includes all types of on-piste skiing – such as downhill or cross-country skiing.
-
Skiing insurance through Insure4Sport covers skiing on-piste and at snow centres. It does not cover off-piste skiing. This is covered by skiing (off-piste) insurance and needs to be selected during your application process.
-
If you’re planning a skiing holiday outside the UK, you can add worldwide cover to your ski insurance policy. This provides the same level of cover when skiing abroad as in the UK, and includes Personal Accident, Third-Party Liability and skiing equipment cover.
This differs from general travel insurance, which is designed to cover you for things such as cancelled flights and luggage lost in transit.

Several different factors can impact the cost of your skiing (on-piste) insurance policy through Insure4Sport, including the type of policy and level of cover you choose. The fastest and easiest way to find out the potential cost of your premium is to get a quick online quote today.
