Why consider circuit trainer insurance?

Regardless of whether you’re circuit training solo or teaching others, circuit training insurance can provide peace of mind should something go wrong. For example:

Circuit training insurance through Insure4Sport can help cover some or all of the costs involved if:

  • You accidentally injure someone or cause damage to their property
  • Your equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged
  • You suffer an injury while circuit training

Circuit training instructor insurance can also cover you if:

  • One of your clients makes a claim against you after getting injured following your instructions
  • One of your employees makes a claim against you for injury or illness while working for you

As a circuit training or fitness class instructor, you have a duty of care to your clients and colleagues. Not only does having circuit training or fitness class insurance provide peace of mind, but it can also demonstrate that you’re a careful and responsible trainer.

Do I need insurance to be a circuit trainer?

There is no legal requirement to have circuit training insurance, unless you run a related business that employs staff.

Employers’ Liability Insurance is a minimum legal requirement if you employ staff. This can protect you should a member of staff make an injury or illness claim against you.

Even if you do not employ staff, circuit trainer insurance could still be beneficial. Plus, many gyms and sports facilities may ask for proof of insurance before allowing you to work there.
