Types of boot camp insurance

Boot camp insurance through Insure4Sport comes with different cover options, including: 

  • Boot camp member insurance: If you’re a participant in fitness boot camps, see our gym member insurance for more information. 
  • Boot camp instructor insurance: Fitness class insurance for instructors can include cover such as Professional Indemnity, Employers’ Liability, and Equipment Cover. You must have the relevant qualification for the level you’re coaching from the appropriate governing body (such as CIMSPA) to qualify for a boot camp insurance policy. 

 

What does boot camp insurance cover?

Participant insurance

  • Public liability – up to £10m for accidental bodily injury to a third party (and damages in respect of such) and accidental damage to third-party property  
  • Personal accident – covers accidental injury or death, dental treatment, and more following an accident as a result of boot camp training 
  • Theft, loss and damage to boot camp equipment 
  • Hospitalisation compensation – if you are admitted as an in-patient for more than 24 hours 
  • Loss of earnings – up to £750 per week for up to 52 weeks. An excess of 14 days applies 
  • Worldwide cover up to 180 days per year 

 

  • Any claims not arising from participating in boot camp training 
  • Any liability for damage to property belonging to you or in your care (excluding premises and other property you temporarily occupy for the purpose of participating in boot camps) 
  • Loss or theft of any equipment left unattended unless there is evidence of forced entry and/or exit to or from any premises, changing room, or any securely locked locker or similar places of storage 
  • Any claims for equipment without evidence of ownership  
  • Theft, loss or damage to mobile phones
