Types of aerial dancing insurance
If you decide to get an aerial dance insurance policy through Insure4Sport, there are three options available to you:
Aerial dancing insurance: This cover option is designed to suit individuals participating in aerial dancing – whether hoop or silk. It includes Personal Accident, Third-Party Liability and equipment cover.
Aerial dance team insurance: This cover can include the same cover as an individual but covers all of your dance team on the policy.
Aerial dancing instructor insurance: These policies include all options available within an aerial dancing individual insurance policy, but with the addition of Professional Indemnity and Employers’ Liability cover. To be eligible, you must be qualified to the level of performance being instructed.

Aerial silk dancing insurance and aerial hoop dancing insurance can help cover some or all of the costs if:
- you suffer a serious injury while on the hoop or in the silks
- any of your aerial dancing equipment is lost, stolen or accidentally damaged
- you accidentally injure another person or damage their property
If you take out an aerial silk or aerial hoop instructor insurance policy through Insure4Sport, you may also be covered for:
- a personal injury claim by a client after an injury when following your guidance
- you suffer a serious injury that means you can’t teach aerial dance classes for a period of time
