Yes, you can be insured for more than one sport through a multi-sport policy. If you are an instructor, you must have the relevant qualifications for every sport you want to be insured to teach. Find out more about our FREE multi-sport insurance policies.

Public liability insurance helps to protect you against financial claims from third parties. With reference to sports, this can include if you were to cause an injury or accident to someone else whilst training or if you were to damage equipment or property. For instructors and coaches, it could also protect you if someone you are training injures themselves under your instruction, or whilst using your equipment.

Insure4Sport arranges policies for personal trainers, fitness & sports coaches, sports teams and individual players/participants. The type of policy you select should match what you are looking to cover i.e. a team/sports club, coach/PT or individual player/participant.

There are no age restrictions for purchasing a policy. If you are a coach or instructor, there are also no age restrictions for whom you can teach, on the basis that there are no age restrictions on your qualifications.
Please keep in mind that the clients still need to be old enough to follow your instructions so we would not be able to provide any cover for liability towards infants or babies who are not able to follow your instruction of the class.

When it comes to the age of your clients and your cover for coaching, you are covered up to the level that you are qualified or experienced. Provided that there are no age restrictions on your qualifications, there is no age restriction for who you can train.
